Resume Editor CV Maker PDF AI Privacy Policy
Resume Editor CV Maker PDF AI is free and AI-powered, and its AI features run online: when you use one, the relevant résumé text is sent to ElevateDev.co's backend and processed by Google's Gemini model via Vertex AI, and we do not keep that text afterwards. Sign-in with Google, a per-call usage ledger recording cost but not content, advertising and app-integrity checks are the rest — your résumé files themselves live on your device, nothing is sent unless you ask, and you can delete your server-side data at any time.

Introduction
Resume Editor CV Maker PDF AI is a free, AI-assisted résumé and CV maker whose AI features run online. It is developed and maintained by Prachi, an independent developer, who you can reach any time at support@elevatedev.co.in.
This privacy policy took effect on the "last updated" date shown above (September 9, 2026). It explains, in plain language, what data the app handles, how that data is used, and — just as importantly — what the app does not do.
The short version: Resume Editor CV Maker PDF AI is an AI-powered app, and its AI features run online. When you tap an AI action, the relevant résumé text is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to ElevateDev.co's backend and processed by Google's Gemini model via Vertex AI to produce the result you asked for. We do not store that text: it is held only for the moments the request takes, and no copy is written on our side. The app also uses Google Sign-In (your account identifies your AI-credit balance and usage ledger), a hashed device identifier (sent with every AI request; used to deter rewarded-ad fraud), banner and rewarded ads served by Google AdMob (Advertising ID and standard ad data), and Firebase App Check (to verify genuine app installs). What we don't do: we don't sell your data, we don't use your résumé content for advertising, and we don't send anything to the AI unless you explicitly request an AI action. Your résumé files are stored on your device in an encrypted database, and you can delete your server-side data — your account, credit balance and usage ledger — at any time.
Data We Collect
Resume Editor CV Maker PDF AI collects the minimum needed to power its AI features, its free credit system and its advertising — and nothing else. The résumé and cover-letter content you type or import (your name, contact details, work history, education, skills, summaries and bullet points, and any job description you paste) is stored on your device; when you use an AI action (generate, rewrite, score, cover letter, or PDF import), the text relevant to that action is transmitted over an encrypted connection to ElevateDev.co's backend, which passes it to Google's Gemini model, via Vertex AI, so the model can produce the result, and records only that the call happened and what it cost. Nothing is sent unless you request an AI action — the ordinary editor, templates and exports work on-device.
AI features require Google Sign-In. When you sign in, the app receives your Google account email address and basic profile information (such as your name and profile picture); your Firebase account is the key for your AI-credit and usage ledger. The app also sends a hashed device identifier with every AI-related request, attached to your rewarded-ad verification nonce to deter reward fraud — this app's free trial is granted per account, not limited per device. Our server keeps a per-account usage ledger recording your credit balance, the AI actions you have used, daily usage counts and, for each call, its cost and outcome — never the text you submitted or the text the model returned. Credits earned by watching a rewarded ad are granted only after server-side verification confirms the ad was genuinely completed.
Finally, Google AdMob processes advertising data to serve the banner and rewarded ads (see "Advertising (Google AdMob)" below), and Firebase App Check verifies that requests to our server come from a genuine, unmodified copy of the app. Your résumé and cover-letter FILES are never uploaded — only the specific text of an AI action you request is transmitted, as described above.
Data We Access & Store on Your Device
To do its job, Resume Editor CV Maker PDF AI stores the following locally, in the app's private storage on your device. This local data stays put — résumé text is transmitted only when you explicitly run an AI action, as described above:
- The résumés and cover letters you create — their sections, content and formatting — in a database encrypted with SQLCipher.
- Any photo you choose to add, copied into the app's private storage on your device.
- Your in-app settings, your sign-in state and a local copy of your credit balance.
Data Categories (Google Play Data Safety)
In the categories used by Google Play's Data Safety section, the information Resume Editor CV Maker PDF AI handles falls under:
- Personal information — your Google account email address and basic profile details (name, profile picture), received when you sign in for AI features.
- Résumé and cover-letter content you choose to process with AI — name, contact details, work history, education, skills, summaries and bullet points, and any job description you paste — transmitted only when you request an AI action, used to produce that one result, and not kept on our server afterwards (see "How Long Is My Data Kept?" below).
- Device or other IDs — a hashed device identifier, sent with every AI-related request and recorded against your rewarded-ad verification nonce to deter reward fraud, and the Android Advertising ID (processed by Google AdMob to serve and measure the banner and rewarded ads).
- App activity — your AI-credit balance, the AI actions you have used and daily usage counts, kept in a per-account usage ledger that records what each call cost but not what it contained (see below); plus standard ad-interaction and measurement data processed by Google AdMob.
- Your résumé and cover-letter FILES are stored on-device; the categories above are transmitted only for the specific purposes stated — the AI processing you request, running the credit ledger, abuse prevention and rewarded advertising — and are never sold or used to profile you.
How Your Data Is Used
Your data is used only to provide the features you ask for — never for profiling, marketing, selling, or any advertising targeting. Specifically:
- To deliver the AI feature you request — generating, rewriting or scoring résumé content, writing cover letters, matching against a pasted job description, or parsing an imported PDF — by sending the relevant text to Google's Gemini model, via Vertex AI, for processing.
- To build, preview and export your résumés and cover letters on your device.
- To run your account and credit balance — your Firebase account identifies your usage ledger, so credits you earn persist across sessions and reinstalls.
- To keep the service fair — per-minute and daily rate limits cap how often each AI action can be used; the hashed device identifier is attached to each rewarded-ad verification request to deter reward fraud (this app grants its one-time free trial per account, not per device).
- To grant ad-earned credits correctly — credits are added only after server-side verification confirms a rewarded ad was genuinely completed.
- To protect the service — Firebase App Check confirms requests come from a genuine, unmodified copy of the app.
Data Sharing & Selling
ElevateDev.co does not sell, rent or trade your personal data, and your résumé content is never shared with the advertising SDK or used to target ads.
Data is shared in exactly three ways: with the service providers named in this policy — Google's Gemini model (via Vertex AI), which processes the résumé text you submit for an AI action, Google Sign-In, Google AdMob and Firebase, each receiving only what its role requires; when you share an exported file yourself (transferred by the app you pick, under that app's policies); and if required by law, in response to a valid legal request, to the minimum extent required.
Third-Party Services
Resume Editor CV Maker PDF AI integrates a small, fixed set of third-party services, each receiving only what is needed for its role: Google's Gemini model, accessed via Google Cloud Vertex AI (receives the résumé text relevant to an AI action you request, via our backend, to generate the result — see "AI Features" below), Google Sign-In (provides us your email and basic profile when you sign in, governed by Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy), Google AdMob (serves the banner and rewarded ads, described in its own section below) and Firebase App Check (verifies genuine app instances, governed by Firebase's privacy documentation at https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy). There are no other third-party SDKs, no analytics platforms and no data brokers in the app.
As of this version, Resume Editor CV Maker PDF AI has no in-app purchase screen anywhere in the app — no billing library is included, and no payment is ever processed. It is free, and its AI features are funded by the optional rewarded ads described in this policy. If a purchase is ever introduced, it will be handled entirely by Google Play Billing, Google will confirm success to the app without sharing your card or payment details with the developer, and this policy will be updated first, with a new date, to describe exactly what changed.
If you install the app from Google Play, Google's own terms and privacy policy govern the store itself (downloads, payments and reviews), independently of this app.
Permissions & Why We Ask
Resume Editor CV Maker PDF AI may request the following Android permissions, and only for the reasons stated. Denying an optional permission never locks you out of the rest of the app:
- Internet — required for the AI features (sending the text you choose to process and returning the result), Google Sign-In, syncing your credit balance, and the banner and rewarded ads from Google AdMob. Every connection is encrypted (HTTPS).
- Photos (optional) — only through the Android Photo Picker, which needs no storage permission, and only if you choose to add a photo to your résumé. You can use the whole app without it.
Analytics, Advertising & Tracking
Resume Editor CV Maker PDF AI contains no analytics SDKs and no third-party trackers beyond the two services it plainly discloses: Google AdMob (the banner and rewarded ads, detailed in the "Advertising (Google AdMob)" section below) and Firebase App Check (app-integrity verification). We do not profile you, and your résumé content is never shared with the ad SDK or used to target ads.
This app shows two kinds of ad. A banner ad appears on the editor, cover-letter and résumé-score screens for all users of the free app. Separately, a rewarded video plays only when you choose to watch one to earn AI credits. Neither ad ever sees your résumé content.
Data Security
Your résumé and cover-letter FILES are held in the app's private storage in a database encrypted with SQLCipher, which Android also sandboxes from every other app on the device. All communication between the app, ElevateDev.co's backend, Google Cloud Vertex AI and Google's other services is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS); server access is restricted; Firebase App Check rejects requests that do not come from a genuine copy of the app; and the device identifier we store is a hash, not the raw hardware identifier. Separately from your on-device files, our server keeps a usage ledger of what each AI call cost — not the text you submitted, and not the text the model returned (see "How Long Is My Data Kept?" below); this ledger is access-restricted and encrypted in transit and at rest by Google Cloud's standard infrastructure encryption.
For an extra layer of protection we recommend using your device's screen lock (PIN, pattern or biometrics), which also protects everything inside the app, and keeping Android's full-disk encryption enabled (it is on by default on modern devices).
Backups & Exports
Exported files (PDF and Word) and any local backup are created only when you ask, written only where you choose, and are never uploaded by the developer — we never receive a copy. If you copy an export to a cloud drive, that storage provider's policy applies to the copy you made.
Standard Android device backups (if you have them enabled in system settings) are managed by Android and your device manufacturer under Google's terms, not by ElevateDev.co.
Data Retention & Deletion
On your device, your résumé and cover-letter files are retained until you delete them. On our server we keep, for as long as your account is active: your credit balance and grant history, your usage and rate-limit counters, your hashed device identifier, and a per-call usage-ledger row for every AI action you run. Each ledger row carries your account email, the operation you used, the model, token counts, the credits it cost, whether it succeeded and how long it took — enough to operate the credit system, investigate abuse and answer "how many credits did this cost me" support questions. It does not carry the text you submitted or the text the model returned. There is no automatic expiry on this ledger: it is kept until you delete your data or your account, not for a fixed number of days. We do not keep a separate server-side library of your résumé FILES, because the app never uploads one — only the text of the specific AI action you request is transmitted, and it is not stored once that request is answered, as described under "AI Features" below.
One thing ages out on its own regardless of what you do: a one-time rewarded-ad verification nonce expires 30 minutes after it is issued.
When you delete your data, we permanently remove your credit balance and grants, every usage-ledger row for your account, your account record, your usage and rate-limit counters, and any pending rewarded-ad verification records. The one thing we deliberately keep is the one-way hashed device identifier used to deter rewarded-ad fraud — it contains no name, email or personal information and cannot identify you.
Deleting your data is straightforward:
- Use the in-app "Delete my data" option (Settings → Help & FAQ). Your personal records — credit balance, account record and every usage-ledger row — are erased the moment you confirm, and you are signed out. A scheduled server process then makes a second, automatic pass to clear any remaining residue (usage counters, expired ad-verification records) and to strip the email from the deletion request itself.
- Or email support@elevatedev.co.in from your sign-in address and we will delete your server-side data within a reasonable time (normally within 30 days).
- On-device: delete individual résumés or cover letters inside the app, clear the app's data from Android Settings → Apps → Resume Editor CV Maker PDF AI → Storage, or uninstall the app.
- Exported files and local backups live wherever you saved them — delete them there; the developer holds no copy.
- Data processed by Google (Sign-In, AdMob, Firebase, Vertex AI) is governed by those services' own retention policies and controls; you can reset or delete your Advertising ID at any time in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
Children's Privacy
Resume Editor CV Maker PDF AI is a résumé and job-application tool aimed at job seekers, not at children. It requires Google Sign-In (Google's own account-age rules apply) before any AI feature or ad request runs, has no chat with other users, and ElevateDev.co does not knowingly collect personal data from a child through the app. Under COPPA, an app whose content and marketing target a general, working-age audience — and that has no actual knowledge a given user is a child — is not treated as "child-directed," and that is the posture here.
European Economic Area: under Article 8 GDPR, the age at which a young person can consent to an information-society service on their own — rather than needing a parent or guardian to consent — is set by each EU member state and ranges from 13 to 16; there is no single European age. Sign-in and the AI/advertising consents described in this policy are gated by Google's own account rules, which apply this variance at the account level.
If you believe a child has provided personal data through the app, contact support@elevatedev.co.in and we will delete it.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live — including under the GDPR, the UK GDPR and India's DPDP Act — you have rights over your personal data. Because this app genuinely sends data to a server, these rights are real rights against a real dataset, not a formality:
- Access (GDPR Art. 15) — your résumé content is on your device and fully editable; email support@elevatedev.co.in for a copy of your server-side usage-ledger data.
- Correction (GDPR Art. 16) — edit any résumé or cover letter directly in the app; email us to correct anything in your account record.
- Erasure / deletion (GDPR Art. 17) — use the in-app "Delete my data" option, or email support@elevatedev.co.in (see "Data Retention & Deletion").
- Restriction of processing (GDPR Art. 18) — email us and we will restrict processing of your account data while a request is resolved.
- Portability (GDPR Art. 20) — exported PDF and Word files are yours, in ordinary formats, stored where you choose; email us for a machine-readable export of your usage-ledger data.
- Objection (GDPR Art. 21) — the app shows personalised ads where you consent to them; you have an unconditional right to object, using the ad-privacy controls described under "Advertising (Google AdMob)" below.
- Withdraw consent (GDPR Art. 7(3)) — where processing relies on your consent (personalised ads), withdraw it at any time via the same controls; signing out of your Google account also stops any further AI transmission. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew.
- Automated decision-making (GDPR Art. 22) — the AI feature drafts text for you to review and edit before you use it; it does not make any decision about you that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and ad selection is not this kind of decision either.
- Complaint (GDPR Art. 77) — see "How Do I Lodge a Complaint?" below. For anything else, email support@elevatedev.co.in.
Do We Use Your Content to Train AI?
ElevateDev.co does not use your résumé, cover-letter or job-description text to train, fine-tune or evaluate any AI or machine-learning model, and does not sell or license it to anyone for that purpose.
The model itself is Google's Gemini, accessed through Google Cloud Vertex AI — the enterprise, billed API, not the free consumer Gemini app. On this API, Google's data-governance terms state that prompts and responses are not used to train or improve Google's models and are not reviewed by humans for that purpose (see Google Cloud's "How Gemini uses your data" documentation at https://cloud.google.com/gemini/docs/discover/data-governance). This is a genuinely different commitment from a free consumer AI product, where a provider may use conversations for training unless you opt out — no such opt-out is needed here because training does not happen in the first place.
Google may retain inputs briefly for abuse and policy enforcement under its own terms, independent of ElevateDev.co. Separately from Google's handling, ElevateDev.co's own server does not keep the text of your AI calls at all — its usage ledger records what each call cost, not what it said; see "How Long Is My Data Kept?" above and "AI Features & How Your Résumé Text Is Processed" below. Nothing on our side is ever used to train a model.
If ElevateDev.co ever changed AI provider or introduced model training on user content, that would be a material change to this policy, published here with a new date before it took effect.
AI Features & How Your Résumé Text Is Processed
AI results are generated by Google's Gemini model, accessed through Google Cloud Vertex AI, via ElevateDev.co's backend. When you request an AI action, the relevant text travels: your device → ElevateDev.co's server → Vertex AI → back through our server → your device, over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection at every hop.
- Nothing is sent until you tap an AI action. The ordinary editor, templates, exports and your saved résumé files work entirely on your device.
- Google processes your text solely to generate the result you requested, under its own Vertex AI terms; it does not use it to train its models (see "Do We Use Your Content to Train AI?" above) and may retain it only briefly for abuse detection under its own policy.
- ElevateDev.co's server does not retain the text you submitted or the text the model returned. It holds them only for the moments the request takes and writes neither anywhere: no usage-ledger row, no cache, no server-side document library (see "Data Retention & Deletion").
- This includes the "Ask AI" chat feature. An earlier version of the service reused a short-lived cache of model answers when the same question and résumé context came back; that cache is switched off, so every question now goes to the model and no answer is stored on our side.
- A practical note: include in your résumé only what you are comfortable submitting to an AI service, and always review AI output before sending it to an employer.
Your Account, Credits & the Usage Ledger
AI features require signing in with Google and run on credits — granted as a small free trial and earned by watching optional rewarded ads. Here is exactly what that involves:
- Google Sign-In provides us your email address and basic profile; your Firebase account is the key for your per-account usage ledger.
- The ledger records your credit balance, which AI actions you have used and daily usage counts — never the text of a call (see "AI Features" above) — this keeps your credits available across sessions and reinstalls, and lets us investigate abuse of the free tier.
- A hashed device identifier is sent to our server with every AI-related request. For this app it is recorded against your rewarded-ad verification nonce to deter reward fraud (for example, scripting repeated fake "ad watched" claims); it does not currently limit how many accounts on one device can each claim the one-time free trial — that trial is granted per account.
- Credits earned from rewarded ads are added only after server-side verification confirms the ad was genuinely completed.
- Firebase App Check verifies that requests to our backend come from a genuine, unmodified copy of the app — protecting the service against bots and abuse.
- You can sign out at any time (which stops any further AI transmission), and you can delete your server-side data whenever you like (see "Data Retention & Deletion").
Who Is the Data Controller?
Resume Editor CV Maker PDF AI is developed and published by ElevateDev.co, an independent developer, and is distributed on Google Play under an Android package in the com.elevatedev.craftfolio namespace.
For the personal data this app involves, ElevateDev.co is the data controller within the meaning of the GDPR and the UK GDPR, and the Data Fiduciary within the meaning of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. Google acts as an independent controller for the Sign-In, AdMob and App Check data it collects, and as ElevateDev.co's processor for the Vertex AI calls it makes on our instruction.
ElevateDev.co's AI backend is shared infrastructure that also serves other apps ElevateDev.co publishes. Your data for Resume Editor CV Maker PDF AI is stored and processed under this app's own identifier and is not combined with another app's data.
You can reach us about anything in this policy — including a request to exercise your rights, or a grievance — by email at support@elevatedev.co.in or support@elevatedev.co.in. We answer privacy requests within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
What Is the Legal Basis for Processing My Data?
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the GDPR requires us to state the legal basis for each purpose your personal data is processed for:
- Running the AI feature you request (sending your text to Vertex AI and returning the result, and signing you in with Google to make that possible). The legal basis is performance of a contract (Article 6 para. 1(b) GDPR): you ask for a specific AI action and we perform it.
- Operating your credit balance and usage ledger, so the free trial and rewarded-ad credits you earn persist across sessions. The legal basis is performance of a contract (Article 6 para. 1(b) GDPR), the same contract that covers the AI feature itself.
- Preventing abuse of the credit system — the hashed device identifier attached to rewarded-ad verification, and Firebase App Check's genuine-app attestation. The legal basis is the developer's legitimate interest in keeping a free service usable (Article 6 para. 1(f) GDPR), limited to the minimum identifiers needed for that purpose.
- Serving a non-personalised advertisement (shown by default, before consent is given or where consent is declined). The legal basis is the developer's legitimate interest in funding a free app (Article 6 para. 1(f) GDPR), limited to the minimum ad-request data Google AdMob needs to serve and measure one ad.
- Serving a personalised advertisement. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6 para. 1(a) GDPR), collected through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent prompt shown before the first ad request in a region where consent is required. Withdraw it at any time from the app's ad-privacy controls; withdrawal deactivates personalised advertising going forward without affecting the lawfulness of processing before you withdrew.
- Storing or accessing an identifier on your device for advertising purposes (the AdMob SDK reading or setting your Advertising ID). This is separately governed by the consent requirement in Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive — implemented in Germany as §25 TDDDG and in the UK as PECR. The same consent prompt and withdrawal mechanism above covers this.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app is funded by advertising served by Google AdMob. A banner ad is displayed on the editor, cover-letter and résumé-score screens whenever you use the free app — this is not optional. In addition, a rewarded video ad plays only when you actively choose to watch one in exchange for AI credits. Your résumé text is never shared with AdMob or used to target ads; the rewarded-ad verification does pass your account identifier to Google so the credit can be granted to the right account.
To serve and measure ads, AdMob and its advertising partners may collect and process data from your device, including:
- The Android Advertising ID — a resettable, user-controllable identifier used for advertising.
- Device and app information, such as device model, operating system version, app version, language, mobile network information and IP address.
- Coarse (approximate) location derived from your IP address, where permitted. The app itself does not request any location permission.
- Ad-interaction data, such as which ads were shown and whether you viewed, tapped or completed them — used for measurement, frequency capping, fraud prevention and verifying that a rewarded ad was completed before credits are granted.
- Personalized vs non-personalized ads: ads may be personalized (selected by Google based on interests inferred from your activity across apps and sites) or non-personalized (based only on context). Non-personalized ads still use the Advertising ID for frequency capping and fraud prevention.
- Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland): before any personalized ad loads, the app shows a consent choice using Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). You can accept or decline; if you decline you only see non-personalized ads (or none), and you can change your choice at any time from the app's settings.
- You are in control: you can opt out of ad personalization, and reset or delete your Advertising ID, at any time in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
- How Google uses this data is described in "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services" (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites), in Google's privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and in the Google AdMob and Google Ads policies (https://support.google.com/admob).
- AdMob is the only advertising SDK in the app, and your résumé content is never shared with AdMob or used to target ads.
Where Is My Data Transferred?
Your résumé and cover-letter FILES are never transferred anywhere — they stay on your device. When you run an AI action, the relevant text, your account identifiers and your usage-ledger entries are sent to ElevateDev.co's backend, which runs on Google Cloud (Cloud Run) and calls Google's Gemini model via Vertex AI, both in the United States (us-central1). Advertising data is sent to Google's ad service and processed on Google's servers, including in the United States.
For transfers out of the EEA, Google is a certified participant in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; for transfers out of the UK, Google relies on the UK Extension to that framework; for transfers out of Switzerland, the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework applies. Where a transfer falls outside those frameworks, Google relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses for both its Cloud/Vertex AI services and its advertising services. The safeguards Google applies are set out in Google Cloud's data processing terms and business.safety.google.
United States Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA and State Privacy Laws)
Resume Editor CV Maker PDF AI is used across the United States, where privacy is governed by a growing patchwork of state laws rather than one federal statute.
California (CCPA, as amended by the CPRA): the personal information this app handles includes the account and résumé data described in this policy and the advertising identifier and ad-request data described under "Advertising (Google AdMob)." We do not sell personal information for money. Showing you personalised ads counts as "SHARING" personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising under the CCPA/CPRA, even though no money changes hands. You have the right to know, delete, correct, limit use of sensitive personal information, and opt out of that sharing — decline personalised ads in the consent prompt, or reset your Advertising ID in Android Settings, Privacy, Ads; for the account and résumé data, use the in-app "Delete my data" option or email us. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of a user we know to be under 16.
Most other US states have now enacted a comprehensive consumer privacy law of their own, and the list continues to grow. These laws differ in wording but share a common core: the right to know, access, correct, delete and export the personal data a business holds about you, and to opt out of targeted advertising and of "sale" or "sharing." If you live in a state with such a law, these rights apply to you the same way as under the CCPA above. Exercise them by using the in-app "Delete my data" option, declining or withdrawing ad consent, resetting your Advertising ID in Android settings, or emailing support@elevatedev.co.in.
Sensitive personal information: several state laws single out categories such as government identification numbers and precise geolocation for extra protection. The developer does not collect any government ID number, financial account number, precise (GPS-level) geolocation, health information or biometric identifier from anyone, through any feature of the app.
To exercise any of the rights on this page, email us at support@elevatedev.co.in or support@elevatedev.co.in. We will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of quality because you exercised a privacy right.
Files You Create
When you export a résumé or cover letter (PDF or Word) or create a local backup file, that file is saved where you choose, on your device or your own storage — you control it entirely, and it is never sent to the developer. If you then share a file, it travels through whichever app you pick, under that app's policies, not ours.
App Names in Other Languages
On Google Play this app's store listing is localized, so the name you see depends on your device language. Every listing below describes the SAME single app -- Android package com.elevatedev.craftfolio, published by elevatedevco -- and this privacy policy applies to all of them, in every language and country.
The name on your home screen after installing is always Resume Editor, in every language. The Play Store listing name is written for each market in that market's own language, so the name in the store will often not match the one on your device. That is expected — they are the same app.
The table below is the complete, current list, and it is kept in step with the store listings.
