Home Inventory AI — Terms of Service
The terms that apply when you use Home Inventory AI. They are short and written to be read: your catalog stays on your device, the AI features run on a free credit system, and you own your data and use the app at your own discretion.

Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and ElevateDev.co, the developer of Home Inventory AI (the "app"). By downloading, installing or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to the app's privacy policy, which explains how your data is handled. If you do not agree, please do not use the app — no hard feelings.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age required in your country) to use the app.
Your License to Use the App
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Home Inventory AI on Android devices you own or control, for your own personal use, in accordance with these Terms and Google Play's terms.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent or reverse-engineer the app or any part of it, except where such a restriction is not permitted by applicable law. The app, its design and its code remain the property of ElevateDev.co.
Your data is a different matter entirely: everything you enter into the app — items, photos, documents, values and notes — is yours. Your catalog is stored on your device, you can export or delete it at any time, and the limited server-side data behind the AI features (your account and credit ledger) can be deleted at any time too (see "Your Account & Google Sign-In").
Your Account & Google Sign-In
The core inventory app works without an account. The AI features (identify an item from a photo, scan an invoice, and ask your inventory) require signing in with a Google account; your Google email identifies your credit balance and usage records.
- You are responsible for the security of your Google account and for activity that occurs through it in the app.
- One account per person, used on your own devices. Creating multiple accounts, or using multiple devices or identities, to obtain extra free credits is prohibited.
- You may sign out at any time, and you may delete your server-side data using the in-app "Delete my data" option (Settings → Help & FAQ) or by emailing support@elevatedev.co.in (see the app's privacy policy).
The AI Credit System
AI features consume credits — a virtual, in-app unit that we may grant (for example, trial credits) or that you can earn by watching optional rewarded ads. Credits exist so that AI features can be offered free of charge. You agree that:
- Credits are a limited, revocable license to use AI features — not property, currency or a stored-value instrument. They have no cash or monetary value.
- Credits are non-transferable (they cannot be sold, gifted, exchanged or moved between accounts) and non-refundable, and cannot be redeemed for money or anything of value outside the app.
- AI usage is subject to daily and other fair-use caps, which keep the service free and available to everyone.
- We may change credit costs per AI action, earning rates, caps and the mechanics of the credit system at any time, and may adjust or remove balances that were obtained through fraud, abuse or error.
- If the service or the credit system is discontinued, unused credits simply expire; because credits are free to earn and have no cash value, no compensation is owed.
Rewarded Ads
Home Inventory AI's AI features are funded by optional rewarded video ads served by Google AdMob.
- Rewarded ads are optional: an ad plays only when you choose to watch one to earn credits. Ads never interrupt your cataloguing.
- Credits are granted after server-side verification confirms the ad was genuinely completed. If verification fails (for example, the ad was skipped, blocked or simulated), no credit is granted.
- Ad availability depends on Google AdMob and your region; we do not guarantee that an ad will always be available to watch.
- Attempting to earn credits through automation, emulators, ad-fraud tools, VPN or location manipulation, or any artificial means is prohibited and may result in removal of credits and termination.
- Ads are served by Google AdMob under Google's terms; consent for personalized ads is collected where required (see the app's privacy policy).
AI Content Disclaimer
AI helps you catalog faster — you own the final word. Always review AI output before relying on it.
- AI-generated results (an item's identity and details, the line items read from an invoice, and answers about your inventory) are produced by an AI model. They may be inaccurate, incomplete or misread — for example, a wrong model number, price or category, or a misread receipt.
- You must review and correct AI output before relying on it. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your inventory records and of anything you use them for.
- AI output is not an appraisal and not insurance, legal, financial or other professional advice (see "A Tool, Not Professional Advice").
- "Ask your inventory" answers are generated from the records the app sends for your question; they can be wrong or out of date, and are not a substitute for checking the underlying records.
A Tool, Not Professional Advice
Home Inventory AI is an organisational tool that helps you record and value your belongings. Any value estimates, depreciation figures, totals and insurance reports the app produces are informational only. They are not professional appraisals or valuations, and they are not insurance, legal, financial or other professional advice.
Always confirm item values and your actual insurance coverage with your insurer or a qualified professional before relying on them for a claim or any other decision. The app does not file claims, provide coverage, or guarantee that any report will be accepted by an insurer.
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for the information you enter and for how you use the app. In particular:
- Check the app's output before you act on it — an AI-identified item, a value or a total is a suggestion to confirm, not a record to rely on for insurance, tax or a claim.
- Keep the information you record accurate and up to date — the app can only be as reliable as what you put into it.
- Keep your own backups. Your catalog lives on your device, so it can be lost if your device is lost, damaged, reset or uninstalled. Use the built-in export (CSV or full backup) or the optional Google Drive backup to protect it.
- Use the app and its AI features lawfully, and do not attempt to farm credits, automate ad views, or tamper with the app or its backend (see "Acceptable Use").
- Keep your device and app lock secure, and comply with all applicable laws when using the app.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use bots, scripts, emulators or any automation to access the app, its backend or the AI features;
- farm, exploit or artificially generate rewarded-ad views or credits, or circumvent fair-use caps, trial limits or device checks;
- reverse-engineer, decompile, tamper with or probe the app, its API or its integrity protections (including Firebase App Check), except as permitted by law;
- use the AI features to generate or process unlawful, infringing or deceptive content, or content that violates the policies of the third-party services the app relies on;
- resell, sublicense or offer the app's AI features as a service to others, or interfere with the service's operation or other users' use of it.
Purchases and the Pro Upgrade
The app is free to use, and the AI features run on the free credit system described above. An optional, one-time "Pro" upgrade unlocks additional features. It is a single purchase — not a subscription.
All purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. Google — not ElevateDev.co — handles your payment, and ElevateDev.co never receives or stores your card or payment details. Refunds and payment disputes are handled under Google Play's policies. Features unlocked by the Pro upgrade may change over time as the app evolves.
Optional Google Drive Backup
The app can optionally back up your data to a private, app-specific folder in your own Google Drive. This feature is strictly opt-in and off by default.
When you enable it, your use of Google Drive is subject to Google's own terms of service and privacy policy, and the backup is stored in your Google account — not with ElevateDev.co. You are responsible for your Google account, and you can turn the feature off or delete the backup at any time. Note that the backup file is protected by your Google account rather than end-to-end encrypted.
Third-Party Services
The app depends on services operated by third parties — a third-party AI service (which processes the photo or inventory text you submit for AI actions), Google Sign-In, Google AdMob (rewarded ads), Firebase (app-integrity and sign-in infrastructure), Google Drive (the optional backup) and Google Play (distribution). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their availability, changes, or acts or omissions. If a third-party service changes or becomes unavailable, related app features may be limited, changed or discontinued.
No Warranty
The app and all its features, including the AI features and credits, are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. ElevateDev.co does not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, that AI output or value estimates will be accurate, or that the app will prevent any loss of data.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ElevateDev.co will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or lost value, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the app, the AI features, the credit system or any AI-generated content. Because your catalog lives on your device, keeping your own backups is the best protection against loss.
Termination
Either of us can end this arrangement:
- By you: stop using the app and uninstall it at any time. You may also delete your server-side data (via the in-app option or by email).
- By us: we may suspend or terminate your access to the AI features — including removing credit balances — if you materially breach these Terms (for example, credit farming, automation or tampering), or if we discontinue the service. Where practical, we will act proportionately.
- Sections that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) survive termination.
Changes to the App and These Terms
We may update the app and these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes to these Terms, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the developer's place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
