Lagom is Swedish for “just the right amount” — and that is exactly how this planner treats your day. It brings your tasks, calendar, notes and habits together in one gentle place, so you can plan just enough, finish your day, and let the rest go. A single Today page shows your whole day at a glance — schedule, tasks and habits in three quiet zones, capped to a humane amount — with a soft note when the day is getting full so you can trim before it tips over. Type naturally (“dentist tue 3pm remind 30m before”) or capture from a widget, a Quick Settings tile or the share sheet; undated thoughts rest in a quiet Inbox until you are ready.

It is a complete, connected system: tasks with projects, tags, priorities and flexible recurrence; agenda, day, week and month calendar views with an optional read-only overlay of your device calendar (off by default, on-device only); notes that link to your days and projects; and habits built on kindness — monthly grace days instead of broken streaks, so a missed day never gets shamed. A short plan-your-day ritual each morning and a shutdown ritual each evening give the day real closure, and reminders respect quiet hours and survive reboots.

Your planner data stays on your device: the on-device database is encrypted with SQLCipher using a key held in your device's secure hardware, there is no account, and none of it is ever sent to us — no analytics, no trackers. Two optional features use the internet: a strictly opt-in backup to your own Google Drive (a hidden app-private folder, protected by your Google account, off by default), and banner ads via Google AdMob that help support development. Every planner feature is free; the only paid option is removing ads, with a one-time "remove ads forever" purchase or a monthly subscription. Available in English, Hindi, Spanish, French, German and Portuguese.

Features

Everything Lagom: Daily Planner & Habits does

Focused features, no filler — each one designed to work without a network connection.

One calm page for your day

Today shows your whole day at a glance — schedule, tasks and habits in three quiet zones, capped to a humane amount — with a gentle overcommit note so you can trim before the day tips over. Lagom suggests; it never rearranges your day for you.

Capture without friction

Type naturally — “dentist tue 3pm remind 30m before” becomes a scheduled task with a reminder — or capture from home-screen widgets, a Quick Settings tile, the share sheet and launcher shortcuts. Undated thoughts rest in a quiet Inbox until you are ready.

Tasks, calendar, notes & habits together

Tasks with projects, tags, priorities and flexible recurrence; agenda, day, week and month calendar views; and notes that link to your days and projects — one connected system instead of four separate apps.

Time-block in seconds

Drag tasks straight onto your timeline to block out the day, so intentions become a plan you can actually see.

Optional device-calendar overlay

See your existing device-calendar events alongside your plan as a read-only overlay — off by default, on-device only, never written to or transmitted.

Habits built on kindness

Habits use monthly grace days instead of broken streaks. Missing a day is human; Lagom never shames you for it, and there are no red badges or guilt notifications.

Gentle rituals, real closure

A short plan-your-day ritual each morning picks what matters; a shutdown ritual each evening makes sure everything is done, deliberately moved, or consciously let go — then the day is closed.

Private by architecture

Your planner data stays on your device in a database encrypted with SQLCipher, using a key held in your device's secure hardware. No account, no analytics, no trackers — nothing is sent to us. Optional Google Drive backup and ads are strictly opt-in / removable.

Calm by design

A soft, warm interface with one accent colour, generous whitespace and a true dark mode. Undo everywhere instead of “are you sure?” interruptions, home-screen widgets for Today, quick capture and your habit grid, and local backup export/import in a plain, readable format.
